Educational institutions across the country are closed due to the corona virus, but the Sindh government has taken a new decision to continue the education of students under which children from sixth to eleventh grade will be given online education. The Sindh Education Secretary has issued a notification to start online classes for government schools and according to this notification, there will be online classes from 6th class to 12th class. Students will be offered online classes with the support of the World Children's Fund (UNICEF) and Microsoft, while 75 trainers have been hired to train teachers. The provincial government has directed the concerned authorities to submit the data of all teachers and students by June 17.
The notification also states that IT experts are also being hired for the online session.
It is to be noted that due to Corona virus, educational institutions across the country have been closed for the last two months and for this reason it has been decided not to take the exams.
